Southern Hemisphere users NOTE; THE ACTUATORS ARE ON THE SOUTHERN SIDE OF YOUR POLE
Northern Hemisphere, they will go on your Northern side of your pole.

THE ACTUATORS ARE ON THE SOUTHERN END..................................................................................................................................NORTH

NOTE; when you receive the tracker kit it will have the inner tubes , or shaft, of the actuators taped. This is done to stop them turning. Do NOT allow the shaft to turn outward or inwards as this can alter the microswitch adjustment.
If this happens the micro may not cut power at the required point, so always, when assembled, run each actuator manually, using the manual drive switches on the sensors, fully in and out to be sure the switched cut power before anything can jam.
If I supply the actuators I have adjusted them to suit the tracker with them, so if you follow the set up procedures you can't go wrong.
if for some reason they do turn and alter the switches cut off point, you can easily readjust them with the actuator info sheet as a guide. Supplied with this tracker assembly.

Fitting the north/south actuator is very simple, just look at the photos, and be sure to measure from the centre of the main pivot bolt to the TOP of the pole grip. I leave the pole-grip bolted to the actuator to make life easier for you.

here again, on the east/west actuator, simply look at the photo. You will notice I have sent it with the shorter of two bolts supplied, in the actuator. Simply position the actuator and bolt, slip the nut inside the mounting bracket and tighten very firmly. the Nut is held by the bracket.
Some may prefer to use the longer bolt, supplied, but I do not think it needed. But if you do use the longer bolt I have already pre drilled the bracket for it. Just be sure that you do not crush the aluminium RHS when tightening the actuator pivot bolt. Use your own discretion ok. but it needs to be tight.

You will see I have writen, I hope, on the tracker which side the 3 washers must go befor the pivots are fitted. Again, the Photo is rather self explanitory.

Once you have done all this, drill a hole somewhere, anywhere safe from moving parts, to mount the sensor controller box. I strongly urge you to buy a good all weather clear lidded electronics box to house the controller. however, they will servive if you mount the sensors with the switches facing downwards.
The sensor box is water resistant because I have switches fitted,, but NOT waterproof. Some just make a canvas flap to protect the box from the elements. But please keep children, you and old, away from the tracker and controller. it is not a toy.!
All SDA sensor operation info is on the website www.campatracka.com. just click on SDA sensors.

Once fully assembled, but prior to fitting your panels, always, run the actuators fully on every axis to insure the switches cut power at the end of each stroke, but also to insure the east/west actuator can not come into contact with the pole or the lower end of the North/South Actuator.
As always, if something is not right, please contact me dave@campatracka.com for help. Do not open sensor boxes unless I ask you to do so, or all warranties are voided.
Your PMTX has 12months repair or replacement warranty, the actuators have three months warranty, thats all the manufacturers give me, and 12months on the sensors.
This is all assuming I am still alive of course. which I plan to be.......
Again, thank you for your valued suport.
Dave.......
