CampaTracka "Pole Mountable Tracker / Dual Axis" Or PMTDA assembly
Firstly, keep in mind that the 4" actuator faces north, and the 12" actuator is the Southern end of the PMTDA assembly.
All bolts for fixing to a 50mm round or square pole will be included.
If using a square pole use a compass to be sure your pmtda will be facing true north before you concrete it into the ground.
About all you need by way of tools etc is a 10mm drill bit, a 8mm drill bit, and electric or cordless drill of course. A couple 16mm 14mm & 10mm spanners and screw driver.
If you intend using the PMTDA as portable, please advise me and I will supply wing nuts in place of nylock nuts for the pivots.
There will also be a small set of jump wires "Included" to move the actuators to full extension for assembly. To change the direction of movement simply reverse the polarity of the actuator wires.
. NEVER reverse the polarity on the solar sensor leads.

In the above right photo you will see the actuator plate has 4 holes, if you measured and drilled correctly your actuator should be mounted in the northern most, 2nd from top, hole. The two plates are marked with an "x" on the inside upper edge. The "X"'s face each other inside, and also indicates the top.
As stated, 9" is the desired distance from the center of each top hole. the other holes are there just in case myself or you measured incorrectly. There is no hard-fast rule with the exception that the 12" actuator must be able to clear your pole when it is on full south axis. And the shaft of the 4" actuator must miss the top of the pole on full south axis.

As stated on the above photo; simply tighten the actuator pivot end until all slop is removed from the nylon spacer. The bolt must be free enough to pivot.
Remember, the east west sensor has about a 6minute delay to east, so if you connect them when the sun is to the trackers east, it may take 6 minutes before the tracker starts moving east. There is only a 300msecond delay for west.
It is a good idea to get the east west sensors set and working before connecting power to the north south sensors. Less confusing.
Your PMT/DA was tested and fully operational prior to packing, so you should have no concerns. However, electronics being what they are, they can become damaged in transit; so if in doubt of the sensors behaviour, firstly disconnect power, wait 1 minute then reconnect. It's a bit like rebooting your laptop.

Your PMT/DA should end up looking like the one below. Now, you can throw some panels on it.
